All, The Secrets of the Five Elements

What level is your talent for metaphysics?

Hello everyone (๑╹◡╹)ノ This is your 44th meeting with Huoyun.

Many people study metaphysics, and as they learn more, they eventually fall into two categories:

One type is someone who has memorized a lot of knowledge but still “can’t read” it; the other type is someone who hasn’t studied for very long but always “gets to the point”.

To put it bluntly, this thing really does have a bit of a “talent theory” aspect to it.

Today, we’ll skip the formalities and directly use the eight characters (Ba Zi) structure to classify you—

Test your talent for metaphysics:

Is he a “hobbyist” or a “chosen one”?

First, from the perspective of the Ten Gods structure, there are two types of seed players:

1.A strong presence of the Seal Star (i.e., the Direct Seal/Indirect Seal appears in the Month Pillar, or the total number in the chart is ≥2): This is a typical “thinking type”.

These types of people easily immerse themselves in the abstract world, becoming particularly fascinated by unseen logic and patterns. While others may find metaphysics mysterious, they can’t help but dissect its structure and seek its underlying logic.

2.A strong presence of Eating God/Hurting Officer (i.e., Eating God/Hurting Officer appearing in the month pillar, or having ≥2 in the entire chart): This is the “inspirational type”. They may not have studied systematically from the beginning, but their intuition is particularly accurate. They often have a feeling of “I can’t explain why, but that’s just how it is”, belonging to the type of person who has a sudden flash of inspiration.

If the Seal Star represents a “research-oriented metaphysical constitution,” then the Eating God and Hurting Officer Stars represent a “psychic metaphysical constitution.”

Secondly, from the perspective of auspicious and inauspicious stars, there are several types of potential candidates:

3.Those born under the “Hua Gai” star in their destiny are naturally gifted with a touch of aloofness and a mystical aura. Such individuals are often not very sociable, or rather, they possess a part of themselves that is detached from reality, making them more inclined towards the spiritual world and naturally interested in metaphysics, religion, and philosophy.

4.They are born with the Tai Chi Nobleman in their destiny. They have an exceptionally high level of comprehension. Many things that others take a long time to learn, they grasp instantly, especially in understanding “invisible rules,” where they have a clear advantage.

5.They are born with an empty destiny. They are interested in illusory and abstract things. What others find impractical, they find fascinating, such as dreams, the subconscious, and energy perception.

Finally, here are some detailed bonus points:

6.People whose Heavenly Stems and Earthly Branches frequently contain “癸”, “子”, and “亥” also have an extra talent for metaphysics.

This type of combination essentially indicates an abundance of water element in the birth chart, representing strong perception and empathy, and a high sensitivity to subtle changes. Often, it’s not something “learned” but rather something “seen.”

7.If any one of the four cardinal directions (子, 午, 卯, 酉) appears in your birth chart, it’s quite suitable for esoteric pursuits. Their presence indicates abundant energy and sustained learning ability.

If your birth chart contains any one of the points 1-7 mentioned above, you’ll find it easier to get started than the average person.

Such people are easily interested in these things, such as: they like to read about horoscopes, tarot, and the Chinese zodiac, and may even have the experience of finding them “somewhat accurate”.

The problem is: it’s easy to lose interest quickly and stop learning after a short while.

When you possess any two of the points I just mentioned (1-7), for example: having the Hua Gai and Tai Chi Shen Sha in your destiny, or having a Pian Yin close to you and having the Hua Gai Shen Sha. And so on.

These people don’t just “think it’s accurate,” but they can vaguely discern the logic behind it. They typically share a characteristic: while others are watching the spectacle, they’re already pondering “why.” They might even occasionally share a few lines with friends, making it seem quite plausible.

However, the bottleneck lies in the tendency to get stuck in “feeling” rather than systematic training.

If you already possess 3 out of 7 points, then you’re basically “ready to make a living in this field.”

People like this who study metaphysics will have a unique experience: many things don’t need to be memorized; they understand them at a glance and grasp them instantly, sometimes even experiencing a sense of “sudden enlightenment.” Moreover, you’ll find that their perception of people, emotions, and auras is more refined than others.

However, there’s a pitfall here: these types of people are prone to going astray, such as becoming obsessed, getting stuck on trivial details, or over-interpreting things.

If you already possess 4 or more of the points from 1 to 7, you are a typical example of someone with a sensitivity to metaphysics, learning ability, and comprehension—all three are present! These “potential stars” are not only capable of learning, but they can also easily develop their own system.

Some people may even have experiences such as vivid dreams, highly accurate intuition, and a tendency to “sense things in advance.” If they study astrology properly, they could potentially achieve something significant.

However, it’s also important to note that what these people need most is not to “learn more,” but to establish boundaries so they don’t get negatively impacted by these things.

Now that you’ve read this far, count how many of these apply to you!

Tell Huoyun in the comments section: Are you a beginner or are you already teetering on the edge of “half-enlightenment”?

When learning any subject, having talent, or having a natural way of thinking that suits the requirements of that subject, will definitely give you an advantage.

But I think the most important thing is curiosity and passion; only then can you specialize in a field and achieve results.

The most important thing is to enjoy the fun that the subject of Bazi (Four Pillars of Destiny) itself brings~ That’s all for this episode~
